FYE of St. Thomas : Illegal Product Tying

So today I tried to buy Chrono Trigger for the Nintendo DS at For Your Entertainment (FYE). As I reached the counter the cashier, who is also the manager of FYE, placed a product, that I believed to be a CD cleaner wipes, on top of the game.

She suggested that I buying the wipes would help them win a contest they were competing in. I told her that I don't want to buy the wipes.

Here is where it gets weird.

She told me that a "New Release" cannot be bought alone, it HAD to be bought with another product. Since i refused again to purchased the wipes, she took the game from the counter in front me and put it on the counter behind her refusing to sell the game to me.

As I was leaving I told her that I was going to Consumer Affairs, she said that she didn't care, other have claimed that they were going to report her, and I'd be wasting my time.

So she refused to sell me a $45 product because I refused to buy a $1 product that had nothing to do with my original intended purchase. From my preliminary research this was an illegal type of product tying.

She probably believe that I won't go Consumer Affairs for them but she dead wrong.

Arrested for What ?

If you was walking down the street and saw a police car with me in it. .. What would you think i got arrested for ?

Stronger than Bull Shit ?

This is one of the lump of horse manure that's been on Anna's Retreat Basketball courts since the beginning of summer. It has survived the blazing and monsoon type rain that we had in the last couple of months. I wonder if bull shit is near this strong ? Now how to get a bull on the court ? hmmm
